This was the 3rd movie for the trio combination of AVM, Rajini and the renowned director S.P.Muthuraman. So, before the release of the film all expected to be a great success. The film was a success but not a box-office hit. The story had a strong base. Satyaraj played the role of Rajini’s father in this film. The business tactics used to overwhelm Satyaraj are simply superb. The song Ennamma Kannu was super dooper hit.
